The NYSMHS Breeders Futurity
dates back to 1959 and was designed to recognize and reward breeders who strive to set the highest standard of excellence in their breeding program. Participation symbolizes a breeder’s dedication to ensuring the future excellence of the breed, as well as their faith in their own product.
Classes for futurity participants are held at the New York Morgan Regional in September and include both halter and performance opportunities. Uniquely, the New York Breeder’s Futurity offers substantial paybacks for the original nominators as well. Also unique to the NYSMHS Futurity are our Alumni classes. These are qualifying classes for their respective championships!
Participants in the futurity program are eligible for participation in the Futurity High Score Trophy for graduating three year olds.
