The New York State Morgan Horse Society is pleased and excited to bring you another opportunity to learn from legendary equestrian, clinician, and author Denny Emerson. Our webinar last year was a hit, and many of you asked if we could do this again. So here we go!
You may know him from his daily, no-nonsense nuggets of wisdom on his Tamarack Hill Facebook page, which has grown to over 129,000+ followers. The author of “How Good Riders Get Good” and “Know Better to Do Better,” Mr. Emerson has been a respected leader across the equine industry for over 50 years.
A lifelong horseman, Emerson is, to date, the only horseman to win both a gold medal in international eventing and a Tevis Cup endurance buckle. Additional accolades and accomplishments include the USEA Wofford Cup, 1972 Rider of the Year, past president of the Green Mountain Horse Association, the Equestrian Land Conservation Resource Leadership Award, and past president of the US Eventing Association, to name a few.

His chosen topic is: “Training for longevity and maximizing potential,” and will include some Q&A time at the end. Although the focus appears to be on sport horses, we believe that the principles that Mr. Emerson will discuss will also have applications and benefits for ALL disciplines. It’s the perfect way to spend a cold winter evening.
