AMHA’s Youth Contest is a four-phase competition designed to test your skills in various equine related areas, and accommodates any level rider. Phases include:

1. Horsemanship Test (video submission)
2. Judging four classes—two in hand, two performance
3. Presenting a speech on a horse-related topic
4. Riding or driving a horsemanship pattern (video submission)

Awards to the high scoring competitors will be made in the following age groups:

• Leadline (7 & under
• Walk-Trot (8-13)
• Junior Exhibitor (14-17)
• Youth (14-21)

The awards ceremony will take place Friday night during the NYS Sweepstakes!
