We are so excited about this year’s New York Morgan Regional Horse Show!

Remember, this could be your last chance to qualify for the Morgan Grand National & World Championship Horse Show in October. Our show dates are September 11-14 at the New York State Fairgrounds in Syracuse.

We have a fantastic slate of judges, with Gerry Rushton and Josh Merritt in center ring, and Josh Noble rounding out the judging trio for the sweepstakes. We are also pleased to welcome Danielle Toscano as the dressage judge. We have also expanded our hospitality offerings this year, and who doesn’t love free food!

As always, we have our exhibitors’ party with a catered dinner on Friday night before the start of the evening session. We’ll also have free coffee and doughnuts every morning in the hospitality room. We’ve added a hot dog party on Wednesday at 6 PM, and desserts in the coliseum on Thursday evening. There is a NYSMHS sub party on Saturday between sessions, and Pizza on Saturday evening!

Don’t forget the Ledyard Open Barn event on Tuesday the 10th, with a chartered bus from the fairgrounds. This event will include cocktails and dinner.

Of course, besides all of the quality competition, the highlight of the show is the New York Stallion Service Auction Sweepstakes, where weanlings by nominated stallions compete for generous prize money. You won’t want to miss this popular event on Friday night.

The show committee has been working hard to continue with things that worked in the past, and to make improvements with the show schedule and hospitality.
