Congratulations to the 2022 Futurity Champion, LEDYARD THE TEMPEST (Merriehill After Hours GCH x FRF Stolen Moment), owned and bred by William Haines of Ledyard Farms LLC, King Ferry, NY. The Reserve Champion was AVENGER (Brigantine x MEM First Joy), owned by Joe and Marion Gaigal, Creekside Morgans, Avoca, NY.

We welcomed 26 foals to our Futurity in 2022. One was even nominated in utero! So, it’s never too early to nominate your foal. Foals do not need to be registered (just eligible) before they are nominated. If your 2023 foal was sired by a stallion sold at the NYSMHS Stallion Service Auction in 2022, the SSA will pay to nominate the stallion.

Before sending in your nomination, check with our Futurity Chair to see if he was in the SSA or has already been nominated. Over $3,855 was distributed in prize money at the NY Morgan Regional Show in 2022. Participate in the Futurity in 2023, nominate your foals!
